Man Stabs Lottery Vendor After Losing Bet

A man allegedly stabbed a lottery vendor multiple times in Wayanad, Kerala, after the tickets he purchased failed to win a prize. The accused, identified as Sivakumar, reportedly threw chilli powder at the victim, Vinitha Ratheesh, before attacking her. Locals intervened and took the injured vendor to a hospital. Police have taken Sivakumar into custody and booked him under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused frequently purchased lottery tickets in the area but had not won any prizes.
