Vijay Sethupathi Jokes Director Wanted Bachchan, Mohanlal For 'Seethakathi'

Actor Vijay Sethupathi humorously recalled director Balaji Tharaneetharan considering stars like Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mohanlal for the film 'Seethakathi'. Sethupathi joked about being overlooked despite being present, comparing the situation to preferring a German Shepherd over a familiar street dog. He also revealed that he chose 'Seethakathi' as his 25th film over '96' because of its artistic commentary on society. Sethupathi felt the character represented art's power to influence societal changes. The film 'Baththa', also by Tharaneetharan, was recently released.
