NDMA Team Assesses Monsoon Damage In Nagaland's Mon District

A central post-disaster needs assessment team from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) visited Mon district in Nagaland on Tuesday. The team met with district officials and representatives from various line departments to assess the damage caused by this year's monsoon. Mon Deputy Commissioner Wennyei Konyak briefed the visiting team on the extent of the damage reported in the district. The NDMA team urged departments to document all actual damage for an accurate assessment of recovery requirements.

राष्ट्रीय आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (NDMA) की एक केंद्रीय आपदा-पश्चात आवश्यकता आकलन टीम मंगलवार को नागालैंड के मोन जिले में गई। टीम ने इस साल के मानसून से हुए नुकसान का आकलन करने के लिए जिला अधिकारियों और विभिन्न लाइन विभागों के प्रतिनिधियों से मुलाकात की। मोन के उपायुक्त वेन्येई कोन्याक ने आगंतुक टीम को जिले में रिपोर्ट किए गए नुकसान की सीमा के बारे में जानकारी दी। NDMA टीम ने विभागों से रिकवरी की जरूरतों के सटीक आकलन के लिए सभी वास्तविक नुकसान का दस्तावेजीकरण करने का आग्रह किया।
