Delhi CM Questions Congress's Silence on SIR Protests in 2002

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने दिल्ली में SIR के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे कांग्रेस और प्रदर्शनकारियों की कड़ी आलोचना की है। उन्होंने सवाल उठाया कि 2002 में दिल्ली में SIR होने पर कांग्रेस चुप क्यों थी, और आरोप लगाया कि पार्टी केवल सत्ता से बाहर होने पर ही विरोध करती है। गुप्ता ने कहा कि जंतर मंतर पर विरोध प्रदर्शनों से व्यापारियों और जनता को भारी नुकसान हो रहा है, जिसका अनुमान हजारों करोड़ रुपये में है। उन्होंने सुझाव दिया कि प्रदर्शनकारियों को दैनिक जीवन और व्यवसाय को बाधित करने के बजाय निर्दिष्ट स्थलों का उपयोग करना चाहिए या प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस आयोजित करनी चाहिए।
