Thiruvananthapuram Airport to Launch Direct Flights to Riyadh and Bahrain

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport will introduce direct Air India Express flights to Riyadh and Bahrain starting October 27, 2026, enhancing connectivity with the Gulf region. The Riyadh service will operate three times weekly, fulfilling a long-standing demand for direct travel between Kerala and Saudi Arabia. The Bahrain route will run twice weekly, strengthening existing connections. These new services are expected to benefit the large expatriate community from southern India working in Saudi Arabia by offering a more convenient travel option.

तिरुवनंतपुरम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डा 27 अक्टूबर 2026 से रियाद और बहरीन के लिए सीधी एयर इंडिया एक्सप्रेस उड़ानें शुरू करेगा, जिससे खाड़ी क्षेत्र से कनेक्टिविटी बढ़ेगी। रियाद सेवा सप्ताह में तीन बार चलेगी, जो केरल और सऊदी अरब के बीच सीधी यात्रा की लंबे समय से चली आ रही मांग को पूरा करेगी। बहरीन मार्ग सप्ताह में दो बार चलेगा, जिससे मौजूदा संबंध मजबूत होंगे। इन नई सेवाओं से सऊदी अरब में काम करने वाले दक्षिणी भारत के बड़े प्रवासी समुदाय को यात्रा का अधिक सुविधाजनक विकल्प मिलने की उम्मीद है।
