Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has strongly defended star striker Kylian Mbappe against what he termed "ridiculous" criticism. Mbappe faced backlash for recovering from a knee injury in France and Switzerland, and for being seen at a nightclub and on a bicycle. Mourinho stated that Mbappe followed proper procedures for his recovery and saw specialists due to a history with his knee. He also clarified that the nightclub visit was for a private event and the bicycle ride was within a hotel complex.
