MLA Objects To Short Vande Mataram Rendition

Shivamogga MLA S.N. Channabasappa objected to the national song Vande Mataram being sung only in its first two stanzas at a public meeting in Tirthahalli. The event was attended by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. Channabasappa urged the CM to ensure the song was rendered in full. However, a significant portion of the audience and some Congress leaders opposed his intervention. Shivakumar stated he would not politicize emotions and welcomed criticism.

विधायक ने वंदे मातरम के छोटे गायन पर आपत्ति जताई

शिवमोग्गा के विधायक एस.एन. चन्नबसवप्पा ने एक जनसभा में 'वंदे मातरम' के केवल दो छंद गाने पर आपत्ति जताई। इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री डी.के. शिवकुमार भी मौजूद थे। चन्नबसवप्पा ने सीएम से पूरा गीत गाने का आग्रह किया। लेकिन, वहां मौजूद कई लोगों और कांग्रेस नेताओं ने इसका विरोध किया। शिवकुमार ने कहा कि वे भावनाओं का राजनीतिकरण नहीं करेंगे और आलोचना का स्वागत है।
