Retired Subedar Mahendra Singh Shekhawat from Jasrapur has dedicated himself to training local youths for the Indian Army and Agniveer recruitment after his retirement. Since 2019, he has been providing free physical training and guidance, helping 78 young men join the armed forces. This year alone, 13 youths from his village were selected as Agniveers. Shekhawat personally trains with the recruits, emphasizing discipline and endurance, running 10-12 kilometers daily. His initiative, supported by villagers and philanthropists, has transformed the local playground into a training ground for aspiring soldiers.

जसपुर के रिटायर्ड सूबेदार महेंद्र सिंह शेखावत ने रिटायरमेंट के बाद से स्थानीय युवाओं को भारतीय सेना और अग्निवीर भर्ती के लिए ट्रेनिंग देने का बीड़ा उठाया है। 2019 से, वह मुफ्त शारीरिक प्रशिक्षण और मार्गदर्शन दे रहे हैं, जिससे 78 युवाओं को सशस्त्र बलों में शामिल होने में मदद मिली है। अकेले इस साल, उनके गांव के 13 युवाओं को अग्निवीर के रूप में चुना गया। शेखावत व्यक्तिगत रूप से रिक्रूट्स के साथ ट्रेनिंग करते हैं, अनुशासन और सहनशक्ति पर जोर देते हुए, और रोजाना 10-12 किलोमीटर दौड़ते हैं। ग्रामीणों और समाजसेवियों के समर्थन से उनकी इस पहल ने स्थानीय खेल के मैदान को भावी सैनिकों के लिए एक प्रशिक्षण मैदान में बदल दिया है।
