Congress Fails to Win Single Seat in MLC Elections Across Four States

News18 Hindi · india

The Congress party has suffered a significant defeat in the recent MLC elections, failing to secure even a single seat. The party contested 12 out of 28 seats across four states but drew a blank, including losing all four seats in Karnataka, where it currently holds government. This outcome directly challenges the opposition's narrative that Prime Minister Narendra Modi wins elections through EVM manipulation. The results suggest that the public has rejected the Congress even in elections conducted via ballot papers, undermining their claims of electoral malpractice.
