CSMT Station Faces 75-Day Block for Redevelopment

Central Railway will implement a 75-day traffic and power block at CSMT from October 1 to December 15. This closure, affecting platforms 14 and 15, is for Phase-I of the station's redevelopment project. Consequently, eight long-distance trains will be short-terminated at Dadar and Thane stations. This disruption follows a previous extended block for the same redevelopment, which aims to transform CSMT into an integrated transport hub while preserving its heritage structure.

पर 1 अक्टूबर से 15 दिसंबर तक 75 दिनों का ट्रैफिक और पावर ब्लॉक लागू करेगा। प्लेटफॉर्म 14 और 15 को प्रभावित करने वाला यह बंद स्टेशन के री-डेवलपमेंट प्रोजेक्ट के फेज-I के लिए है। नतीजतन, आठ लंबी दूरी की ट्रेनें दादर और ठाणे स्टेशनों पर शॉर्ट-टर्मिनेट की जाएंगी। यह रुकावट इसी री-डेवलपमेंट के लिए पिछले लंबे ब्लॉक के बाद आई है, जिसका उद्देश्य CSMT को उसके हेरिटेज स्ट्रक्चर को बनाए रखते हुए एक इंटीग्रेटेड ट्रांसपोर्ट हब में बदलना है।
