Bihar Woman Arrested For Liquor Gets Bail

Charchit Chehra Neha Jha, arrested in connection with the seizure of 75 liters of foreign liquor from a train coach in Samastipur, Bihar, has been granted bail by the Excise Court-2. Her lawyer claimed she was at the station to receive relatives and did not have a train ticket, nor was liquor directly recovered from her. While Jha has been granted bail after approximately 25 days in jail, co-accused Ishan Kumar remains in custody. The final outcome of the case will be determined by the judicial process.

समस्तीपुर, बिहार में एक ट्रेन कोच से 75 लीटर विदेशी शराब की बरामदगी के मामले में गिरफ्तार चर्चित चेहरा नेहा झा को उत्पाद शुल्क न्यायालय-2 ने ज़मानत दे दी है। उनके वकील ने दावा किया कि वह रिश्तेदारों को लेने स्टेशन आई थीं और उनके पास ट्रेन का टिकट नहीं था, न ही शराब सीधे उनसे बरामद हुई थी। करीब 25 दिनों तक जेल में रहने के बाद झा को ज़मानत मिल गई है, जबकि सह-आरोपी ईशान कुमार अभी भी हिरासत में हैं। मामले का अंतिम फैसला न्यायिक प्रक्रिया से तय होगा।
