Cygni Energy Private Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indus Towers to develop and source energy storage solutions for India's telecom infrastructure. The collaboration aims to establish Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing capacity of up to 1.5 GWh. This initiative will focus on enhancing reliability, improving energy efficiency, and enabling more sustainable telecom operations. Cygni Energy plans to develop capacity up to 2 GWh, evolving from current battery systems to higher-capacity and emerging technologies to support India's expanding digital infrastructure.
