The Supreme Court has directed the Andhra Pradesh State Election Commission to postpone the publication of the final list of candidates for local body polls. This decision comes after the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) accused the ruling Telugu Desam Party of obstructing their candidates from filing nominations. The final list was originally scheduled for release on Wednesday. The court's intervention aims to address the allegations of electoral interference before the polls proceed.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आंध्र प्रदेश राज्य चुनाव आयोग को स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों के लिए अंतिम सूची के प्रकाशन को स्थगित करने का निर्देश दिया है। यह फैसला युवजन श्रमिक रायथू कांग्रेस पार्टी (YSRCP) द्वारा सत्तारूढ़ तेलुगु देशम पार्टी पर अपने उम्मीदवारों को नामांकन दाखिल करने से रोकने का आरोप लगाने के बाद आया है। अंतिम सूची मूल रूप से बुधवार को जारी होनी थी। अदालत का हस्तक्षेप चुनावों से पहले चुनावी हस्तक्षेप के आरोपों को दूर करने का लक्ष्य रखता है।
