Two Dead, Four Injured By Electrocution In Mumbai

An eight-year-old girl and a woman died, and four others were injured, after suffering electrocution at a temporary drinking water stall near a Ganesh pandal in Mumbai's Lalbaug area early Sunday. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. due to a suspected short circuit near the pandal entrance. Firefighters switched off the power supply, and the injured were taken to hospitals. Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the short circuit.
