Severe cyclonic storm Murasu has caused widespread disruption across Andhra Pradesh, damaging standing crops in 15 districts and impacting normal life. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed gratitude to the Centre for its prompt support and solidarity during the crisis. State and central teams are coordinating rescue and relief operations, including clearing roads. Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured all possible assistance, with NDRF and SDRF teams already on the ground assisting affected populations. The cyclone caused significant damage, including uprooting trees and damaging infrastructure.
