Indian Seaman Killed Off Oman Coast

An Indian seafarer, Suraj Yadav, was killed on Wednesday in an attack on the MV Cape Dao off the coast of Oman. The bulk carrier, bound for India, was hit in its accommodation and engine room. Yadav is the 11th Indian seafarer killed in the West Asia crisis amid ongoing attacks on commercial shipping. India has condemned the incidents, calling them deeply worrisome and reiterating calls for dialogue to de-escalate regional tensions.
