A record 16 Indian men joined S&P 500 boards this year, a significant increase reflecting a broader trend. The share of Indian men on Fortune 500 and S&P 500 boards has tripled since 2018. This surge is attributed to their accumulated CEO and operating experience, with 77% of Indian men on these boards having profit-and-loss backgrounds. Despite a general pullback in diversity initiatives, Indian men are making rapid inroads into top corporate leadership roles in America.
