Belagavi Police Raid Over 40 Bars, Pubs and Hotels

Belagavi police, led by Commissioner Prakash Nikam, conducted raids on over 40 establishments selling alcohol on Saturday night. Teams inspected hotels, restaurants, clubs, and dhabas, issuing warnings and closing some for violating excise and licensing rules. Officers discovered minors consuming alcohol in some locations and addressed issues of high-decibel music causing noise pollution. Commissioner Nikam stated that maintaining public peace and safety is the priority, and no establishment will be exempt from following regulations.

बेलगावी पुलिस ने कमिश्नर प्रकाश निकम के नेतृत्व में शनिवार रात को 40 से ज़्यादा शराब बेचने वाली जगहों पर छापेमारी की। टीमों ने होटलों, रेस्टोरेंट, क्लबों और ढाबों का निरीक्षण किया, चेतावनी दी और कुछ को आबकारी व लाइसेंस नियमों के उल्लंघन पर बंद कर दिया। अधिकारियों ने कुछ जगहों पर नाबालिगों को शराब पीते हुए पाया और ऊँची आवाज़ में बजने वाले संगीत से होने वाले शोरगुल की समस्या को भी देखा। कमिश्नर निकम ने कहा कि जनता की शांति और सुरक्षा बनाए रखना प्राथमिकता है, और कोई भी जगह नियमों का पालन करने से नहीं बचेगी।
