Yemeni government forces have launched "Dawn of Yemen" operation, making strategic advances in Marib governorate against Houthi rebels. This offensive follows significant Houthi gains along the Red Sea coast in September, including the capture of the port city of Mocha. Meanwhile, intense Houthi shelling in Taiz has resulted in dozens of civilian casualties. Government troops have reportedly secured commanding heights near the Maas camp facility in Marib and captured key positions on the southern front. The operation aims to retake all Houthi-held territory, including the capital, Sanaa.
