BJP Rejects Congress Allegations of Mass Voter Deletion in Belagavi

BJP leaders in Belagavi have refuted claims by Congress, including Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, that the party attempted to delete voters from a specific community during electoral roll revisions. Belagavi South MLA Abhay Patil stated his letter to election officials sought verification of irregularities flagged by Booth Level Agents, not the deletion of eligible voters. He denied distributing Form 7 applications for mass deletions and demanded an apology for the allegations. Former MLA Anil Benake questioned the revision process, citing concerns over the community of appointed Booth Level Officers.

बेलगावी में बीजेपी नेताओं ने कांग्रेस के दावों को खारिज कर दिया है, जिसमें मुख्यमंत्री डीके शिवकुमार भी शामिल हैं, कि पार्टी ने चुनावी सूची संशोधन के दौरान एक विशेष समुदाय के मतदाताओं को हटाने की कोशिश की थी। बेलगावी दक्षिण के विधायक अभय पाटिल ने कहा कि चुनाव अधिकारियों को उनका पत्र बूथ स्तर के एजेंटों द्वारा बताई गई अनियमितताओं की जांच के लिए था, न कि योग्य मतदाताओं को हटाने के लिए। उन्होंने बड़े पैमाने पर मतदाताओं को हटाने के लिए फॉर्म 7 के आवेदन वितरित करने से इनकार किया और आरोपों के लिए माफी की मांग की।
