A 20-year-old student, Bittu Tabahi, who was considering abandoning his mission to clean the Ajnar River in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district, has received renewed support from the district administration. Following a TOI report highlighting his discouragement due to repeated dumping, Rajgarh collector Girish Mishra met with Bittu, felicitated him, and promised municipal authority assistance. While acknowledging the administrative help, Bittu stressed that public awareness and collective responsibility are crucial for sustained cleanliness, as the river continues to be treated as a dumping ground by some residents.
