Treasure of India, a new gallery in Gurgaon, has opened its doors with its inaugural exhibition, 'Navratna: Indigenous Masters'. Founded by Tanisha Bakshi, the gallery continues a 45-year legacy started by her father, Ashok Samrat Bakshi, aiming to support traditional and tribal artisans. The exhibition features nine national award-winning artisans showcasing diverse techniques, from ancient lost-wax casting to various painting styles. The gallery's philanthropic arm seeks to provide global recognition, dignity, and economic value to these master craftspeople, fostering their growth as independent artists.
