Army Intelligence and police have arrested a husband-wife couple from Ferozepur district for allegedly spying for ISI. The couple is accused of collecting and transmitting highly sensitive information, including maps of military locations and details about weapons depots, to handlers in Pakistan and Malaysia. Investigators are also examining the possibility of a honey-trap operation, with the woman allegedly posing as a police officer to lure Army personnel. Several mobile phones containing potentially sensitive material have been seized as the investigation into the espionage network continues.

सेना की खुफिया एजेंसी और पुलिस ने फिरोजपुर जिले से एक पति-पत्नी के जोड़े को ISI के लिए जासूसी करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। जोड़े पर पाकिस्तान और मलेशिया में बैठे हैंडलर्स को सैन्य ठिकानों के नक्शे और हथियारों के डिपो की जानकारी सहित अत्यधिक संवेदनशील जानकारी इकट्ठा करके भेजने का आरोप है। जांचकर्ता हनीट्रैप ऑपरेशन की संभावना की भी जांच कर रहे हैं, जिसमें महिला पर सेना के जवानों को फंसाने के लिए पुलिस अधिकारी बनकर धोखा देने का आरोप है। जासूसी नेटवर्क की जांच जारी रहने के बीच कई मोबाइल फोन जब्त किए गए हैं जिनमें संवेदनशील सामग्री हो सकती है।
