56 Artisans Display 2,700 Dolls For World Record

Fifty-six artisans from across India have showcased over 2,700 handmade dolls at Bengaluru's Garuda Mall in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record. The dolls depict scenes from Indian heritage, including the Mahabharata and Krishna Leela, using diverse materials and techniques. Organized by the Indian Doll Makers Hub, the exhibition aims to celebrate traditional doll-making and preserve India's rich artistic traditions. This initiative, conceptualized in November 2025, also seeks to bring global attention to the skills of traditional artisans and promote these art forms among younger generations.

पूरे भारत से 56 कारीगरों ने बेंगलुरु के गरुड़ मॉल में 2,700 से ज़्यादा हाथ से बनी गुड़िया दिखाई हैं, ताकि गिनीज वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड बनाया जा सके। ये गुड़िया महाभारत और कृष्ण लीला जैसे भारतीय धरोहर के दृश्यों को अलग-अलग चीज़ों और तरीकों से दिखाती हैं। इंडियन डॉल मेकर्स हब द्वारा आयोजित इस प्रदर्शनी का मकसद पारंपरिक गुड़िया बनाने की कला का जश्न मनाना और भारत की समृद्ध कला परंपराओं को बचाना है। नवंबर 2025 में सोची गई इस पहल का उद्देश्य पारंपरिक कारीगरों के हुनर पर दुनिया का ध्यान लाना और इन कलाओं को नई पीढ़ी में बढ़ावा देना भी है।
