Rain Cleans Lucknow Air, AQI Drops to Good

Incessant rain has significantly improved air quality in Lucknow, bringing the city's Air Quality Index (AQI) into the 'good' category. Data from the Central Pollution Control Board shows the AQI fell to 38 on Saturday, a level sustained for three consecutive days. Individual monitoring stations recorded even cleaner readings, with Central School showing an AQI of around 25. The rain acted as a natural atmospheric scrubber, removing suspended particles and suppressing road dust, a major contributor to pollution in the city.

लगातार बारिश ने लखनऊ की हवा की गुणवत्ता में काफी सुधार किया है, जिससे शहर का Air Quality Index (AQI) 'अच्छा' श्रेणी में आ गया है। Central Pollution Control Board के आंकड़ों से पता चलता है कि शनिवार को AQI गिरकर 38 हो गया, जो लगातार तीन दिनों तक बना रहा। अलग-अलग निगरानी स्टेशनों ने और भी साफ रीडिंग दर्ज की, जिसमें Central School का AQI लगभग 25 दर्ज किया गया। बारिश ने एक प्राकृतिक वायुमंडलीय स्क्रबर के रूप में काम किया, निलंबित कणों को हटाया और सड़क की धूल को दबाया, जो शहर में प्रदूषण का एक प्रमुख कारण है।
