Last 9/11 Firefighter Retires From Ten House

Sal Argano, the last firefighter from the September 11 attacks still working at New York's Ten House, is retiring nearly 25 years later. Argano was assigned to Engine 10 and Ladder 10, located across from the World Trade Center, in 2001. He survived the attacks because he was temporarily working at another station. His firehouse was damaged, and six colleagues were among the 343 FDNY firefighters killed.
