TV9 Hindi · india

Authorities across India are conducting large-scale raids against food adulteration as the festive season approaches, particularly with Diwali preparations underway. This intensified action comes amid a surge in demand for sweets and dairy products, which adulterators exploit. Recent operations include a seizure of 3,840 homemade chocolates, imported chocolates, and fig-based sweets in Jaipur, along with nearly 2 kg of moldy dried coconut. Similar crackdowns are occurring in states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar, and Rajasthan to ensure consumer safety.
