Hurricane Trudy maintained its strength as it moved towards Mexico's western coast on Saturday, with forecasters warning it could strengthen further before weakening on Sunday. A hurricane warning is in effect from Manzanillo to Cabo Corrientes. The storm is expected to bring significant rainfall, raising the risk of life-threatening flooding and landslides, especially in steep terrain. Swells generated by Trudy are also creating dangerous surf and rip current conditions along the coast.
