Chhattisgarh's Congress has accused State Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap of irregularities in land allocation. The opposition claims that a company linked to Kashyap's wife was allotted 23,327 square feet of land in Kachna, valued at crores, in exchange for 1.33 acres. Congress alleges that the minister used his influence to obtain prime land by misrepresenting his tribal caste as 'general' in government records. The ruling BJP has refuted the allegations, stating the land allocation followed all rules and regulations of the Raipur Development Authority's urban development plan.

छत्तीसगढ़ कांग्रेस ने राज्य के वन मंत्री केदार कश्यप पर ज़मीन आवंटन में अनियमितताओं का आरोप लगाया है। विपक्ष का दावा है कि कश्यप की पत्नी से जुड़ी एक कंपनी को 1.33 एकड़ के बदले 23,327 वर्ग फुट ज़मीन कचना में आवंटित की गई, जिसकी कीमत करोड़ों रुपये है। कांग्रेस का आरोप है कि मंत्री ने सरकारी रिकॉर्ड में अपनी आदिवासी जाति को 'सामान्य' बताकर प्रमुख ज़मीन हासिल करने के लिए अपने प्रभाव का इस्तेमाल किया। सत्ताधारी बीजेपी ने आरोपों का खंडन करते हुए कहा है कि रायपुर विकास प्राधिकरण की शहरी विकास योजना के सभी नियमों और विनियमों का पालन करते हुए ज़मीन आवंटित की गई थी।
