HC dismisses YouTuber Ajit Bharti's bail plea

The Delhi High Court has dismissed YouTuber Ajit Bharti's anticipatory bail plea in a case involving alleged casteist and defamatory remarks against MP Chandrashekhar Azad and the SC community. The court found that a case under the SC/ST Act is made out against Bharti. The plea was also deemed not maintainable due to a statutory bar on pre-arrest bail in SC/ST Act cases. This decision follows a similar rejection by the trial court.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने यूट्यूबर अजीत भारती की अग्रिम जमानत याचिका खारिज कर दी है। उन पर सांसद चंद्रशेखर आजाद और SC समुदाय के खिलाफ जातिवादी और अपमानजनक टिप्पणी का आरोप है। कोर्ट ने पाया कि SC/ST एक्ट के तहत उनके खिलाफ मामला बनता है। साथ ही, SC/ST एक्ट में गिरफ्तारी से पहले जमानत न मिलने के कारण याचिका को भी मेंटेनेबल नहीं माना गया। यह फैसला ट्रायल कोर्ट द्वारा याचिका खारिज किए जाने के बाद आया है।
