Bengaluru City police commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh stated that the mobile phone allegedly used to upload a video targeting a former Karnataka chief minister was exchanged at the Delhi residence of Union minister HD Kumaraswamy. The accused, Ritesh Pandey, confessed to this exchange. Investigators are still working to determine the extent of involvement of others in this alleged conspiracy. Notices have been issued to Vinod Sharma and Prajwal Prasad, who are reportedly absconding, as police probe the fabricated narrative of sexual abuse presented in the video.
