Hindustan Times · politics

Checking your name on the electoral roll is crucial for voting in India. The Election Commission of India's Voters' Service Portal allows citizens to search for their names and verify registration details. If your name is missing or incorrect, eligible voters can apply for new registration or corrections using Form 6 on the official portal. It is advised to resolve any issues before election day, as applications require processing time. Using the official portal ensures accurate information, avoiding reliance on unofficial sources.
