Man Held With 10 Kg Ganja On Government Bus In Katpadi

Police in Vellore arrested a 33-year-old man from Tiruppur for allegedly smuggling 10 kg of ganja. The seizure occurred during a vehicle check on a government bus traveling from Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, to Vellore. The suspect, S. Ganesh Kumar, became suspicious when he refused to allow his bag to be searched. He reportedly procured the drugs in Chittoor to sell to industrial workers in several Tamil Nadu cities. Katpadi Police registered a case, and the man has been lodged in Vellore Central Prison.
