The Delhi High Court has ordered a brother-in-law to pay over Rs 1 crore plus interest to the daughters of a deceased co-owner. The dispute arose from the 2011 sale of 26 bighas of land in Najafgarh for Rs 6.95 crore. The sister-in-law, represented by her daughters after her death, received only Rs 71.99 lakh instead of her rightful share, which was approximately Rs 1.73 crore.
