Police action against protesters at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on October 10 has sparked a political controversy in Haryana. Congress leaders and women's organizations allege mistreatment, with former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda calling peaceful protest a democratic right and condemning the alleged actions. Former minister Geeta Bhukkal claimed women protesters were manhandled and had their clothes torn. Suman Hooda of BKU Mahila alleged physical assault and molestation of women protesters and detention of journalists. AIDWA's Jagmati Sangwan also condemned the alleged police brutality.

दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर पर 10 अक्टूबर को प्रदर्शनकारियों पर हुई पुलिस कार्रवाई ने हरियाणा में सियासी बवाल खड़ा कर दिया है। कांग्रेस नेताओं और महिला संगठनों ने बदसलूकी का आरोप लगाया है। पूर्व सीएम भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने शांतिपूर्ण विरोध को लोकतांत्रिक अधिकार बताया और कथित कार्रवाई की निंदा की। पूर्व मंत्री गीता भुक्कल ने दावा किया कि महिला प्रदर्शनकारियों के साथ मारपीट की गई और उनके कपड़े फाड़ दिए गए। बीकेयू महिला की सुमन हुड्डा ने महिला प्रदर्शनकारियों के साथ शारीरिक उत्पीड़न और छेड़छाड़ और पत्रकारों को हिरासत में लेने का आरोप लगाया। एडवां (AIDWA) की जगमती सांगवान ने भी कथित पुलिस बर्बरता की निंदा की।
