Manipur Home Minister Orders Arrests In Killing Of 3 Meiteis

Manipur Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam announced that search operations are underway to apprehend all individuals involved in the killing of three Meitei people in Kangpokpi district four days prior. Security forces have also raided a camp belonging to insurgent groups that had signed a suspension of operations agreement. Three arrests have already been made in connection with the incident, which occurred on Monday in the Sunurok hills. The minister assured that impartial measures would be taken to restore law and order and normalcy in the state.

मणिपुर के गृहमंत्री गोविंदस कोंथौजम ने घोषणा की कि चार दिन पहले कांगपोकपी जिले में तीन मेइती लोगों की हत्या में शामिल सभी लोगों को पकड़ने के लिए तलाशी अभियान जारी है। सुरक्षा बलों ने उन विद्रोही समूहों के एक शिविर पर भी छापा मारा है जिन्होंने निलंबन की कार्रवाई समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए थे। सोमवार को सुनुरोक पहाड़ियों में हुई इस घटना के संबंध में तीन गिरफ्तारियां पहले ही की जा चुकी हैं। मंत्री ने आश्वासन दिया कि राज्य में कानून व्यवस्था और सामान्य स्थिति बहाल करने के लिए निष्पक्ष उपाय किए जाएंगे।
