चीन बना फोई ग्रास का सबसे बड़ा उत्पादक

चीन अब दुनिया भर में फॉई ग्रास (foie gras) बनाने में सबसे आगे निकल गया है। यह हर साल करीब 11,000 टन फॉई ग्रास बनाता है। यह मात्रा फ्रांस जैसे पुराने देशों से कहीं ज़्यादा है। चीनी फॉई ग्रास की कीमत फ्रांसीसी फॉई ग्रास से लगभग आधी है। यह दिखाता है कि चीन अब बड़े ग्लोबल फूड मार्केट में भी अपनी जगह बना रहा है और लग्जरी खाने के सामानों में भी मुकाबला कर रहा है।
