US National Matthew Vandike Allowed To Travel Abroad

A Delhi court has permitted American national Matthew Aaron Vandike to travel to the United States and remain abroad. Vandike was arrested by the NIA in March for allegedly training Myanmar's ethnic rebel groups in modern drone warfare techniques. The NIA accused him and six Ukrainian nationals of providing advanced drone operations, assembly, and jamming technology to rebels fighting Myanmar's military junta. Previously, the court granted default bail to all accused in September, allowing them conditional travel to meet families.

दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने अमेरिकी नागरिक मैथ्यू आरोन वंडाइक को संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की यात्रा करने और विदेश में रहने की अनुमति दे दी है। वंडाइक को मार्च में NIA ने म्यांमार के जातीय विद्रोही समूहों को आधुनिक ड्रोन युद्ध तकनीकों में प्रशिक्षित करने के कथित आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया था। NIA ने उस पर और छह यूक्रेनी नागरिकों पर म्यांमार की सैन्य जुंटा से लड़ने वाले विद्रोहियों को उन्नत ड्रोन संचालन, असेंबली और जैमिंग तकनीक प्रदान करने का आरोप लगाया था। इससे पहले, अदालत ने सितंबर में सभी आरोपियों को डिफ़ॉल्ट जमानत दे दी थी, जिससे उन्हें परिवारों से मिलने के लिए सशर्त यात्रा की अनुमति मिल गई थी।
