Ghaziabad to Install 50 EV Charging Stations Under PM E-Drive Scheme

Ghaziabad will soon have 50 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations as part of the first phase of the PM E-Drive scheme. These stations will be established at government offices, public parking lots, and along major roads. Electricity for these stations will be supplied by UPPCL, and departments will receive a revenue share of Rs 1 per unit consumed. The size of each station will vary depending on the type of vehicles it will serve, from two-wheelers to e-buses.

गाजियाबाद में जल्द ही 50 नए इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन (EV) चार्जिंग स्टेशन लगेंगे। यह पीएम ई-ड्राइव योजना के पहले चरण का हिस्सा है। ये स्टेशन सरकारी दफ्तरों, पब्लिक पार्किंग और मुख्य सड़कों पर बनाए जाएंगे। इन स्टेशनों को बिजली यूपीपीसीएल (UPPCL) देगा। हर यूनिट बिजली की खपत पर विभागों को 1 रुपये का रेवेन्यू शेयर मिलेगा। हर स्टेशन का साइज़ इस बात पर निर्भर करेगा कि वह किस तरह के वाहनों को चार्ज करेगा, जैसे कि टू-व्हीलर से लेकर ई-बस तक।
