Tech mogul Elon Musk has reportedly spent $366 million since last year to support the Republican Party in the upcoming US midterm elections. The New York Times reported Musk spent $276 million since July, with $158 million going to a super PAC for Republican Senate candidates, making him the largest single donor this year. Musk's political action committee, America PAC, confirmed the spending, stating it was necessary to prevent a Democratic takeover of Congress.
