Punjab CM Mann Slams Centre For Denying Paris Food Festival Visit

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has criticised the Union government for denying him political clearance to visit Paris for a food festival. Mann stated that he was invited by the French government to attend the SIAL Paris food innovation exhibition, where Markfed was to have a stall. He also mentioned being denied permission for a previous trip to Japan to attend hockey matches. Mann alleged that only Prime Minister Modi is permitted to travel abroad freely, while his own requests are repeatedly rejected.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने पेरिस में एक फूड फेस्टिवल में जाने के लिए राजनीतिक मंजूरी न देने पर केंद्र सरकार की आलोचना की है। मान ने कहा कि उन्हें फ्रांस सरकार ने SIAL Paris फूड इनोवेशन प्रदर्शनी में शामिल होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया था, जहाँ मार्कफेड का एक स्टॉल लगना था। उन्होंने जापान में हॉकी मैच देखने जाने की पिछली यात्रा की अनुमति न मिलने का भी जिक्र किया। मान ने आरोप लगाया कि केवल प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को ही विदेश यात्रा की खुली छूट है, जबकि उनके अनुरोधों को बार-बार ठुकरा दिया जाता है।
