ED Raids 7 Locations in APPSC Group-I Scam; Ex-IPS Officer Under Scanner

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Hyderabad has conducted searches at seven locations across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh as part of a money laundering investigation into alleged irregularities in the evaluation of APPSC Group-I Mains answer scripts. The residence of former IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu was among the premises searched. The probe stems from findings by a SIT that a private firm allegedly retained answer scripts for 84 days and used unqualified individuals to transfer predetermined marks, misusing over Rs 1.14 crore in public funds.

हैदराबाद में प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) ने APPSC ग्रुप-I मेन्स उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं के मूल्यांकन में कथित अनियमितताओं की मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग जांच के तहत तेलंगाना और आंध्र प्रदेश में सात जगहों पर तलाशी ली है। पूर्व IPS अधिकारी PSR Anjaneyulu का निवास भी तलाशी ली गई जगहों में से एक था। यह जांच एक SIT की जांच से सामने आई है, जिसमें आरोप है कि एक निजी फर्म ने 84 दिनों तक उत्तर पुस्तिकाएं अपने पास रखीं और अयोग्य व्यक्तियों से पूर्व-निर्धारित अंक ट्रांसफर करवाए, जिससे 1.14 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक सार्वजनिक धन का दुरुपयोग हुआ।
