India-New Zealand FTA to Boost Trade

FTA will come into effect, granting Indian products nearly 100% duty-free access to the New Zealand market. This includes labor-intensive sectors like leather, apparel, and textiles. The agreement is also expected to facilitate significant investment from New Zealand into India over the next 15 years. Sensitive sectors such as dairy, onions, and sugar have been excluded from the pact. New Zealand will also open up 118 service sectors for Indian providers, enhancing market access.

भारत-न्यूज़ीलैंड FTA से व्यापार को मिलेगी गति भारतीय उत्पादों को मिलेगा बाज़ार में बड़ा मौका

FTA लागू होने से भारतीय उत्पादों को न्यूज़ीलैंड के बाज़ार में लगभग 100% ड्यूटी-फ्री एक्सेस मिलेगी। इसमें चमड़ा, कपड़ा और टेक्सटाइल जैसे लेबर-इंटेंसिव सेक्टर शामिल हैं। यह समझौता अगले 15 सालों में न्यूज़ीलैंड से भारत में बड़े निवेश को भी सुगम बनाने की उम्मीद है। डेयरी, प्याज़ और चीनी जैसे संवेदनशील सेक्टर को इस समझौते से बाहर रखा गया है। न्यूज़ीलैंड भारतीय सेवा प्रदाताओं के लिए 118 सेवा क्षेत्रों को भी खोलेगा, जिससे बाज़ार तक पहुंच बढ़ेगी।
