USDA Recalls Over 1.5 Million Pounds of Meat Products Nationwide

Hindustan Times · health

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced a nationwide recall of approximately 1,584,361 pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products from Kayem Foods Inc. The recall was initiated because some products may have been stored at unsafe temperatures in a warehouse cooler, potentially compromising their quality. The issue came to light after a customer reported receiving warm meat products. The affected items, produced between March 31 and October 7, 2026, include various hot dogs, deli meats, bacon, and sausages, distributed across the US and some to Hong Kong.

US Department of Agriculture (USDA)
