Minor Abuse Case: SIT Probes Girl's Background in Andhra Pradesh

A special investigation team (SIT) in Thiruvananthapuram is probing the alleged sexual exploitation of a minor at Kovalam spas. The SIT has travelled to Andhra Pradesh to gather details about the victim's childhood, family, and education, aiming to understand the circumstances leading to the alleged offences. Investigators are also examining the existence of two Aadhaar cards linked to the girl and have inspected a homestay where she reportedly stayed. A forensic team collected further evidence from the homestay, with findings expected to be part of the ongoing investigation.
