Gujarat ATS Takes Custody of Drug Lord Salim Dola in Major Mephedrone Case

The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has taken custody of alleged international drug trafficker Salim Ismail Dola. He is wanted in connection with a mephedrone factory case in Vadodara where drugs worth ₹438.64 crore were seized. Dola was arrested in Istanbul on April 25, 2026, under an Interpol Red Notice and brought to India on April 28. He was already lodged in a Mumbai jail when the Gujarat ATS took him into custody on October 31.
