Two Independent MLCs Back BJP After Bihar Council Polls

Two newly elected Independent Members of the Bihar Legislative Council, Banshidhar Brajwasi and Rahul Raj, have officially pledged their support to the ruling BJP. Both lawmakers attended a BJP legislature party meeting in Patna, where they were welcomed by state president Sanjay Saraogi and Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. This development is significant as both MLCs had defeated official JD(U) candidates, key allies of the BJP within the NDA coalition, in their respective constituencies during the recent council elections.
