Indian telecom gear maker Signaltron and semiconductor firm Signalchip have signed a pact with Indonesia's research body BRIN. The collaboration aims to develop advanced telecom technologies, including pilot deployments of 4G, 5G, and future 6G solutions. This partnership focuses on creating secure, high-performance connectivity tailored for Indonesia's archipelagic conditions. The goal is to connect remote and under-served regions, addressing the nation's unique connectivity challenges. Joint research will also explore solutions for tropical and maritime environments, drone integration, and optical networks.
