Veteran Indian pacer Mohammad Shami has stated he is not thinking about a potential return to the national team, even as his teammate Bhuvneshwar Kumar makes a comeback. Shami, who has been out of the Indian squad for over 18 months since the Champions Trophy 2025, is currently focused on the ongoing Ranji Trophy season. He expressed satisfaction with Bhuvneshwar's return but clarified that it does not affect him personally. Shami affirmed he would give his best if selected, but faces no loss if he is not recalled.
