Two Men Arrested in Latehar With Country-Made Pistol and Knife

Balumath police in Latehar district arrested two men, Dhananjay Kumar Pandey (32) and Taleshwar Thakur (34), on Thursday after recovering a country-made pistol and a knife. The duo, residents of Chetag village, were apprehended near the Chetag panchayat samiti office. Authorities stated the accused were allegedly using the weapons to intimidate the public and project a strongman image. A case has been registered under the Arms Act, and both individuals were produced in court and sent to judicial custody.

लातेहार जिले में बालूमाथ पुलिस ने गुरुवार को दो लोगों, धनंजय कुमार पांडे (32) और तालेश्वर ठाकुर (34) को देसी पिस्तौल और चाकू के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। चेताग गांव के रहने वाले इन दोनों को चेताग पंचायत समिति कार्यालय के पास पकड़ा गया। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि आरोपी कथित तौर पर जनता को डराने और दबंगई दिखाने के लिए हथियारों का इस्तेमाल कर रहे थे। आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है और दोनों को कोर्ट में पेश कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।
